Northwest Local School District announced on social media that all faculty and children are safe. It appears to be a swatting incident as well as a false alarm. Due to the emotional impact Colerain High School will be dismissed for the day. We will begin dismissal at 9:15 am. Parents will need to come to the front office to check out their student.
Parents are not permitted to enter the high school building. The district stated that it will continue to engage with employees and families via text and email updates. Officials have not stated what type of threat was made or who they believe made it.
