Colerain High School Shooting Investigations – Colerain High School in Cincinnati, Ohio is on lockdown while police investigate what the district believes is a false shooting alarm. Northwest Local School District announced on social media that all faculty and children are safe. Police are on the site conducting an investigation. “It appears to be a swatting incident as well as a false alarm,” the district said.

It appears to be a swatting incident as well as a false alarm. Due to the emotional impact Colerain High School will be dismissed for the day. We will begin dismissal at 9:15 am. Parents will need to come to the front office to check out their student.

Parents are not permitted to enter the high school building. The district stated that it will continue to engage with employees and families via text and email updates. Officials have not stated what type of threat was made or who they believe made it.
