Cody Anderson Death – Cody Anderson, a resident of Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania, and an employee at Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. passed away tragically on Sunday, July 30th, 2023. He was 19 years old at the time of his death. He was confirmed dead in a social media publication made on Monday, July 31st that read “Fly High Cody Anderson. You will be missed by many. I can’t believe this happened.” He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

State police in Cambria County are providing information about an “emergency situation” that occurred on Sunday at a residence in Portage. At around 11 a.m., an incident involving a shooting was reported at a residence on Dulancey Drive. The suspect involved in the shooting was identified as 19-year-old Cody Anderson, who, following a dispute with the child victim, reportedly barricaded himself inside the house.

According to authorities, after the altercation, troopers found that Anderson had allegedly fired four shots in the direction of the victim. Several hours after the initial call, law enforcement reportedly entered the home and discovered Anderson deceased from what appeared to be a “self-inflicted” gunshot wound. The situation remains under investigation as authorities seek to understand the events leading up to this tragic incident.

Family and friends mourns Cody Anderson’s death

Family and friends took to social media to mourn the death of Cody. A close friend wrote “Rest in paradise Cody Anderson you was a real one and always one of the happiest dudes I’ve talked to. Always had a smile on your face. We’d talk so much about the Beaters we’d both get. You’ve bought a few of my beaters. You always gave me good advice when trying to fix a problem I had with one of my machines. Rest easy bro.”
