Chase Mead Death – University of Louisville School of Dentistry Student Chase Mead of Springport, Michigan has sadly passed away. He died after a hit-and-run accident while riding a scooter on Sunday 23rd July 2023. He was confirmed dead through a post that says “Blessed we got to have you in our lives Chase Mead and part of our family. Live, Love, Laughter…you left us with all of those memories we will never forget”.

How did the accident happen?

According to the spokesperson of the Louisville Metro Police Department, Aaron Ellis, the incident took place around 2:55 a.m. on Mellwood Avenue. It appears that a vehicle, believed to be dark in color, was traveling east when it collided head-on with 26-year-old Chase Mead, who was riding a scooter in the westbound lanes. Shockingly, the driver did not stop to assist Mead and fled the scene.

Regrettably, Mead succumbed to his injuries, and the Louisville Metro Emergency Medical Services pronounced him dead at the scene of the accident. Currently, the Traffic Unit of the Louisville Metro Police Department is conducting an investigation and is on the lookout for a vehicle with front-end damage, which is believed to be the one involved in the hit-and-run incident.

A fatal collision occurred in downtown Louisville, resulting in the untimely death of a 26-year-old woman from Jeffersonville. The unfortunate accident involved a motorcycle and a car and took place on River Road near Dock View Drive, close to the intersection of River Park Place and the Waterside Apartments, shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. According to the Louisville Metro Police, the sequence of events leading to the collision unfolded when a car, heading east on River Road, decelerated to make a turn into the nearby apartment complex.

Tragically, the motorcycle following behind was unable to stop in time and collided with the back of the car. The motorcyclist has been identified as Bobby N. Stacy, a 26-year-old from Jeffersonville, Indiana. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed that she suffered fatal blunt force injuries and succumbed to them at the scene of the accident.

At this point, it remains uncertain whether she was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. On the other hand, the driver of the car, which was struck from behind, emerged from the incident unharmed and cooperated with authorities during the investigation.
