According to his family, Miller passed away on Friday after a brief battle with sickness. His age was 75. Charlie Miller was multifaceted in many ways. He had a distinguished career as a lawyer and led one of the most successful legal companies in Maine. He was a cornerstone of the Jewish community, serving as a leader in the community and advocating for social justice.

Charles Miller Life and Career

Miller was born on September 25th, 1947 in the city of New Haven, Connecticut, in the United States. His academic career began in Maine, where he attended Colby College, where he received his bachelor’s degree in 1969, and the University of Maine, where he received his master’s degree in education in 1973.

Following his graduation from college, Miller worked as a teacher of English as well as a coach for speech and debate. Because of the intensity of both his interest in and talent for argument, he made the decision to enrol in law school. In 1979, he received his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law and immediately began a profession that would last him a lifetime.

Miller joined Bernstein Shur later that same year, and he went on to serve as the firm’s managing partner, and subsequently as the CEO, from 2003 to 2013. Up to the time of his passing, he maintained a successful real estate and commercial legal practice.

His wife, Ellie Miller, stated that every morning when he woke up, he would have such a strong desire to get to work that he practically couldn’t restrain himself. His children were unaware, while they were growing up, that some individuals despise the employment that they had.
