Byron Decles charged in Berkeley, CA double stabbing

23-year-old Bryon Decles has been charged in the double stabbing Friday. Berkeley police were seen searching for a man who they believe stabbed two people on Friday night close to El Camino Real and Oakridge Steps, which is at the end of Oak Ridge Road. At 8:06 p.m., the Berkeley Police Department issued an alert asking locals living near Oakridge Road to stay indoors and lock all windows and doors.

At 9:38 p.m., the shelter-in-place order was removed. At around 6:30 p.m., there was a report of a double stabbing, so police were rushed to the scene. Byron Decles, a 23-year-old Caucasian man with blonde hair and a height of 5-foot-8, is the suspect that police are hunting for. When last spotted, he was sporting a big black bag, black jeans, a black hat, and a brown or red hoodie.

Decles may be carrying a cutting equipment, so police warn anyone spotting him to stay away from him and to phone 911 instead.
