Brenna Caisse Death – Brenna Caisse, a resident of North Andover, Massachusetts, and a grade 12 student of North Andover High School tragically passed away on Thursday night, November 9th, 2023. She was 18 years old at the time of her death. She was confirmed dead by the North Andover High School Principal Chet Jackson through a statement released on social media that said “I am absolutely heartbroken for Brenna’s family. I remember her from our Girl Scout troop as a sweet, fun-loving little girl.”

What happened to Brenna Caisse?

Late on Thursday night, a horrifying collision on Route 495 in Lawrence claimed the life of a senior from North Andover High School. Around 9:15 p.m., according to Massachusetts State Police, the young woman struck a camper while speeding in an SUV in the northbound lanes. The SUV crashed off the road, skidded down a slope, and caught fire. The 18-year-old driver was pushed out onto the highway, struck by approaching cars, and died, according to State Police.

She was eventually identified as Brenna Caisse, a senior at North Andover High School, by North Andover Public Schools. Counseling sessions will be available at the school on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Monday, counseling services will also be offered. After being transported to Lawrence General Hospital, three of the SUV’s occupants—ages seventeen, sixteen, and fifteen—were given medical attention for what the police called “minor injuries.”

Three students injured in crash

The three teenagers were high school students at North Andover Public Schools, according to the district. There were no injuries to the pickup truck driver who was towing the camper. The cause of the crash has not yet been identified and is under investigation by the authorities.

“We advise all staff and students who plan on coming to the high school to use the faculty parking lot at the trackside entrance of the high school. Additionally, we will have psychologists, social workers, and counselors available for staff and students on Monday, November 13th when we return to school.” The statement by the North Andover High School also read.

Brenna Caisse’s obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family at a later date.
