Brendon Gutgsell Death – The entire school communities in Ferdinand, Indiana are mourning the tragic death of a teenage student and tennis player who passed away following an ATV (All-Terrain-Vehicle)accident yesterday. The Forest Park High School Tennis Player and former Northeast Dubois Jr/Sr High School died in a deadly crash Saturday, July 29, 2023. The Forest Park High School reportedly have the tennis court light up as they mourn with the player’s family.
Brandon was an alumnus of Pine Ridge Elementary and a contestant in the 2015 Schnellville Sesquicentennial Junior and Little Miss and Mister contestants, according to Dubois County Free Press. “Our tennis courts are lit up tonight in memory of Forest Park tennis player Brendon Gutgsell. Our hearts go out to the Gutgsell family.”

Brendon Gutgsell was killed in a bad accident involving an all-terrain vehicle in Indiana. The talented Tennis player was a friend, brother, and team member. His parents Mark and Tracy Gutgsell are devastated following the tragic demise of their son who clearly had a whole bright future in front of him.

Brendon Gutgsell was the beloved son of Mark and Tracy Gutgsell. His favorite sports were football, basketball, and baseball. Brendon was also a player with the Southridge Raider Athletics. Following his death, the Raider’s wrote; “Our tennis courts are lit up tonight in memory of Forest Park tennis player Brendon Gutgsell. Jasper wants the Ranger Community and Gutgsell Family to know you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
