As reported by the Massachusetts State Police, a 2013 Hyundai Accent was traveling at a high rate of speed on Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester on January 4 at around three minutes after three o’clock in the morning. According to the detectives, the vehicle, which had been taken from Jamaica Plain a few hours earlier, had four adolescents. According to the troopers, a firearm was discovered in the wreckage following the collision.

Both a youngster from Dorchester, who was 14 years old, and a lad from Mattapan, who was 15 years old, passed away that evening. A youngster from Roslindale, Massachusetts, who was believed to be in “grave condition” following the collision, passed away “earlier this week in a Boston hospital,” according to a statement released by the State Police on Friday.

Additionally, a youngster from Dorchester who was 15 years old and was the fourth passenger in the vehicle was sent to a hospital in Boston, but according to state police, it was anticipated that he would live.
