Braxton Kidd McCreary, KY, died after motorcycle accident on Oct. 29

Braxton Kidd Death – Braxton Kidd, a Bureau of Prisons Correctional Officer from McCreary, Kentucky, passed away following a motorcycle accident. He was 33 years old. The crash happened on October 29 in McCreary County on KY-92 and Pleasant Run Church Hill Road. Ttate troopers from Post 11 arrived on the scene of the incident around 2:40 in the afternoon,

Kidd was riding a 2006 Harley Davidson motorbike eastbound on KY-92 when his vehicle veered off the right shoulder of the road, collided with a guard rail, and ejected him from the motorcycle. According to the troopers, he was transported to Big South Fork Hospital in Tennessee by the McCreary County Emergency Medical Services. According to the troopers, he was deemed deceased upon arrival at the hospital.

Dwain Paul Garrett, a Cowan High School graduate wrote on social media, “Braxton Kidd when the adoption fell through and we came down there I was a mess. For three days you were with me constantly. You were there for me through some of the hardest times in my life. I messaged you a few months ago and told you that I missed seeing you. And you told me next time I’m in town that you were buying the beers…”
