UPDATE – Borough Park Stabbing Today – According to police and reports, a “disturbed” man killed his elderly parents in Brooklyn on Saturday night by stabbing them. Around 5:20 p.m., police went to a 911 call at 1158 45th St. in Borough Park. There, they discovered a 75-year-old man and woman who had many stab wounds throughout their body. According to the NYPD, the husband and wife, named as Jacob and Rachel Sperber, were transferred to Maimonides Hospital and later declared deceased.
Following the massacre, the victims’ son is said to have locked himself inside the flat. Under the observation of onlookers, the suspected stabber—a bald man with red scratches on his head, glasses, and a beard—was strapped into an ambulance and taken away on a stretcher.
