Bobby Hurd Death – Family and friends of a teenage Altus High School student are mourning the death of their son who passed away unexpectedly. Bobby Hurd a freshman student at Altus High School in Altus Oklahoma died tragically after an asthma attack. Bobby was also a treasured member of our Bulldog family, and we extend our sincere sympathy.

Altus Public Schools, Dear Bulldog School family: Our hearts are heavy today as we mourn the loss of Bobby Hurd, a freshman student at Altus High School. Bobby was a treasured member of our Bulldog family, and we extend our sincere sympathy and support to his loved ones and friends during this difficult time.

Bobby was loved by so many, and his passing is difficult for us all. Counselors will be available for students at school on Monday and will continue to be for as long as needed. If your child would like to talk with someone about their concerns or feelings during this difficult time, please contact the school to let us know.

We have many caring professionals as part of our school family who can support and assist them. Altus is a close-knit school community. In our school family, no one experiences pain or loss alone.
