Birmingham Stabbing: West Midlands Police say teen hurt near council house in Victoria Square

Birmingham Stabbing Investigations: West Midlands Police say a teenager has been stabbed Saturday afternoon near Council House. According to law enforcement agencies, the 7-year-old boy was located with severe knife wound at the Birmingham city centre.

Multiple emergency services responded to the scene of the incident. A large police cordon was also erected near the council house in Victoria Square. According to the police, the incident happened around 3:30 P.M. Officers were called to the a report of an altercation with weapons near the Victoria Square.

The injured teenager was transported to an area hospital where he was listed in critical condition.  West Midlands Police are currently investigating the scene for the suspect involved in the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police. This is a developing story.
