Bernard Edmonds Death – Bernard Edmonds of Pittston, Pennsylvania was involved in a motor vehicle accident and was transported to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp. as a result of the fatal injuries sustained in the crash. On Thursday, August 3, 2023, Bernard succumbed to to his injuries. He was 32 years old.

According to Bernard Edmonds Obituary, Bernard was a member of the graduating class of 2009 from Wyoming Area High School. He was a basketball player at Wilkes University, which he also attended. He began his professional life working as a driver for J. Cawley Moving Co. of Hanover Industrial Park, and he then went on to teach basketball at Wyoming Area, which was his alma school.

The members of Bernard’s family were the source of his greatest joy. Bernard was a devoted husband to his wife. He looked forward to the arrival of his second daughter with great excitement and took special pleasure in the times he spent creating memories with his wife Maggie and their daughter Sloane. His grin was contagious, and he provided unadulterated joy to everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.

Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., located at 504 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Pennsylvania 18644, will have a visitation for family and friends on the evening of Monday, August 7, 2023, from four to eight o’clock in the evening.

The interment will take place whenever it is most convenient for the family.

In Luzerne County, there was a collision involving two cars that resulted in one person being sent to the hospital. Two vehicles are said to have crashed on the 309 Route 315 Highway in Pittston Township, close to the Walmart Supercenter, just before 10 o’clock on Saturday night, according to the authorities.

Because one of the cars flipped over, the driver had to be extricated with the assistance of the fire department. That individual was sent to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
