Beavercreek Walmart Shooting, Active Shooter reported
UPDATE: The danger is not currently present. Around 8:35 p.m. on Monday, a person entered the Walmart located in Beavercreek and immediately began discharging a gun, causing four individuals to sustain injuries. The victims were sent to hospitals in the surrounding area, however it is currently unknown what their conditions are for the time being.
An suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound was the cause of death for the fifth individual, who was the gunman. All of the responding police officers did not fire any rounds at the suspect. In addition to other local agencies, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are also present at the scene to assist with the investigation. Just to reiterate, there is no current danger.
