Bayonne Bridge Suicide; Keith Connelly found dead in Elm Park Str.

After the body was discovered at 6:24 a.m. on Richmond Terrace near Newark Avenue, underneath the bridge, Connelly was pronounced dead at the scene, according to spokespersons for the New York City Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services and the New York City Police Department.

In accordance with a spokeswoman for the New York Police Department, police who responded to the scene discovered the gentleman unconscious and unresponsive on the ground at that area. The individual was found to have injuries that suggested he had fallen from a higher elevation, as stated by a person who is familiar with the investigation. The formal determination of the official cause of death will be made by the medical examiner.

According to reports, this is the second occasion in the past four days that a person is suspected to have committed suicide by jumping from the span. A woman was pulled from the water on Saturday, and according to the officials, her condition remained stable after the rescue. A fatality that occurred on Tuesday is still being investigated by the New York Police Department and the Port Authority Police.
