Barbara Sam died in car accident in Dunkirk parking lot, family mourn his death

Barbara Sam Death – The identity of the victim who passed away in accident has been released by the officials. 69-year-old Barbara A. Sam died after fatal crash that happened in the Dunkirk parking lot. She passed away after being struck by a vehicle while walking in a parking lot in the Town of Dunkirk on Wednesday. Her identity was  released by the State Police in Fredonia who were called to the scene.

According to the troopers who responded at 2:36 p.m., Barbara A. Sam was walking north in the parking lot of Tops about 2:30 p.m. when she was struck by a 2018 Ford travelling south outside the Tops Markets location at 3955 Vineyard Drive. It was determined that she had passed away at the scene of the accident. Her cause of death is linked to the injuries she sustained in the crash that happened in Dunkirk crash. The family members and friends of Barbara Sam mourn her death.

Both the State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation are currently looking into the crash to determine what caused it. Condolences are been sent to the family members of Barbara Sam after she passed away in crash.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 8, 2023, around 2:30 p.m., police, fire, and rescue officials rushed to the area of Northbound Route 4 at Brickhouse Road in Dunkirk, New York, for a motor vehicle collision that was reported to be serious, with one person said to be unconscious and potentially not breathing with entrapment. It was stated that all patients were breathing when emergency crews arrived on the scene of the accident, which featured two vehicles colliding head-on.

One of the occupants of one of the vehicles was said to be unresponsive. Trooper 7 of the Maryland State Police Helicopter Unit was dispatched to the scene after receiving a landing request from the local trauma center. Trooper 7 was responsible for transporting a patient to one of the local trauma centers.

Two further victims were checked by emergency medical personnel at the scene; however, it is unknown whether or not these patients were transferred. A complaint that was made to 911 suggests that the collision may have been the result of road rage, thus the police are investigating it as such.
