Austin “Woody” Woodruff was resident of Marion, Ohio, and the beloved son of Jay Woodruff. He was a graduate of River Valley High School. He enjoyed playing golf at Kings Mill Golf Club and was member of the RV shot and Discus family. He was a gentle giant, kind soul, and was in the church youth group in MS. Woody was described as an intelligent, kind, and talented person. He was a thrower on the RV Track Team and on RV Golf Team.
You couldn’t find a nicer, kinder, friendlier, and more caring young man. Austin was an inspiration to the youths and his entire community. His commitment to sports team serves as an example for others, inspiring them to strive for success in their own endeavors. He was a perfect example of hard work, dedication, and compassion.
Woody’s involvement in the shot and Discus team at River Valley demonstrates his dedication to both discipline and passion. He was an outstanding golfer with strength and resilience in his body. In addition to being an athlete, he was a team player who inspires his teammates with his dedication, excellent work ethic, and positive outlook. His appearance in the field is proof of what is possible when one is committed and works hard.
