Ashley Rankin Missing – Ashley Rankin of Montgomery, NY 12549, has been reported missing after she was last seen at Aloft West end in Nashville Tennessee. She has not been seen or heard from since Friday, August 4, 2023 around at 8:25 a.m. She is 31 years old. Ashley does not have her phone nor clothing other than what she was wearing which was a white and blue pinstripe vertical pinstripe loose blouse and black pants,she has long brown hair straight. She has very noticeable blue eyes.

After being stabbed on Rep. John Lewis Way close to Church Street in the central business district of Nashville late on Saturday night, a homeless man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers responded to a complaint of a man down outside the 400 block of Church Street quickly on Saturday, July 29, at 11:25 p.m., according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. This led to the discovery of 32-year-old Marquis D. Churchwell in the highway.
According to the authorities, a bystander who possessed medical skills was providing assistance. Sadly, though, Churchwell, who was living on the streets, passed away not long after arriving at the Vanderbilt University Medical Centre.
The investigation has led the detectives to suspect that the stabbing occurred on Rep. John Lewis Way, which is located between Commerce Street and Church Street. Churchwell was reportedly seen by officials on a surveillance camera making her way up Rep. John Lewis Way and into Church Street.
After some time had passed on Monday, July 31, law enforcement officials said that they had identified Cody Watson, 37 years old, as a suspect in the fatal stabbing after seeing him on the surveillance footage of a private company. According to the police report, Watson and Churchwell “had brief words” on the sidewalk just a few moments before the altercation.
Watson, who is also thought to be homeless, was apprehended on Monday afternoon on Rep. John Lewis Way at Broadway after being sighted there. Reports from the police indicate that he is being investigated for criminal homicide.
