She was announced dead through a social media publication that read “It truly saddens me to write this post. Ashley Hardy Prince, I’m so thankful for the times we were able to work together! You were Always so happy and positive about any and everything! I will miss working and talking to you about literally everything!”
Who was Ashley Prince?
Ashley Prince, was a resident of Tupelo, Mississippi, and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, according to her social media profile. She went to Central Arkansas Christian and graduated with the class of 1984. Ashley studied Marketing at the University of Arkansas and at the Louisiana State University from 1984 to 1986. She studied Marketing and International Business at Tulane University – A.B. Freeman School of Business from 1989 to 1990.
She worked as a Market Manager at Cellular South from 1996 to 2000 and co-owner of Caron Prince Gallery from 2010 to 2012. Ashley was a Media Specialist at Snyder Media and a marketing coordinator and assistant to Curt McClellan, the owner of Local Mobile in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was awarded by the Community Development Foundation in November 2020 for being the 2019-2020 ambassador of the year. She was married to Mark Prince, a Operations Consultant at Ken Jeter Store and Restaurant Supply, LLC.

Her commitment to kindness, and generosity have left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Ashley’s presence was a light that brightened our days, and her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.
As we mourn this tremendous loss, we also celebrate the remarkable life she led and the countless lives she touched. Her spirit will forever be a part of Local Mobile and in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Ashley. You will be deeply missed, never forgotten.
