Anthony Cellitti South Beloit IL has died; East Dubuque EMS mourns his death

Anthony Cellitti Death – Greater Rockford Area, Rockford, and, South Beloit, Illinois communities are mourning the tragic death of a longtime Emergency Medical Services member who passed away unexpectedly over the weekend. Anthony Cellitti a renowned community member of the East Dubuque and Rock River EMS team died tragically this weekend.

According to reports, the Rock Valley College graduate was pronounced dead after a medical emergency.  Tony was a respected Paramedic Course Coordinator at Advocate Aurora Health-Sherman Hospital. The news of his death has prompted massive reactions from his community of friends and family. Many described Anthony as a loving man who cared about his job.

In a statement, East Dubuque Fire – Rescue & Fire Corp wrote; “It is with deep sadness that we here at East Dubuque Fire bid farewell to Tony Cellitti. You were an Honorary Member of our department and a great friend & mentor. You touched countless lives & we will be forever grateful for what you have done for our department. You are part of the reason we have the high standard we do & because of that, we are much better for knowing you! Rest Easy our Brother & keep watching over all of the people who are better for knowing you.
