Anojan Gnaneswaran from Twickenham died in Strawberry Hill station stabbing, 2 arrested

Anojan Gnaneswaran Death -The individual who lost their life in a fatal stabbing at a train station in south London earlier this week has been identified as 21-year-old Anojan Gnaneswaran from Twickenham. The tragic incident occurred at Strawberry Hill station, prompting a swift response from the police who arrived at the scene shortly before midnight on Monday, January 8. Anojan was discovered with a severe stab wound and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries on-site.

Subsequently, two individuals, aged 19 and 21, have been apprehended in connection with the incident. This development follows the release under investigation of three other individuals—a 19-year-old man, a 20-year-old man, and a 15-year-old boy. Additionally, a 16-year-old boy has been released on bail. In light of these events, Anojan’s family has requested privacy during this challenging period.

Detective Inspector Paul Attwell, the senior investigating officer, confirmed that three arrests have been made in connection with Mr. Gnaneswaran’s death. Detective Inspector Paul expressed gratitude to the members of the public who came forward with information to assist in the investigation.
