Anne Waterhouse Death: New Zealand Travel Industry mourns longtime worker who passed away suddenly. Anne Waterhouse worked as the National Sales Manager at APT Travel Group Ltd in Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand. The news of Anne Waterhouse’s death was was announced on the official Facebook page for Travel Today NZ.

Following the tragic demise, Travel Today NZ wrote; “The New Zealand travel industry has lost one of its most-loved identities, with the sudden passing of APT’s Anne Waterhouse at the weekend. Gorgeous, gracious and generous, Anne was loved by so many in the trade (even her competitors) and will be greatly missed.

As well as being great at what she did, she was always the first to offer a kind word and flash that giant smile.
Anne worked for APT for 30 years and the McGeary family, and APT, have paid tribute to their loved and long-time Kiwi staffer. “Anne has provided an unwavering commitment and complete dedication to APT over the past three decades.

Her loyalty has been nothing short of extraordinary and her unparalleled professionalism, incredible trade relationships and leadership of the New Zealand sales team has meant she was a trusted supplier partner and friend to many,” says APT ceo David Cox.

Anne left such a lasting impression on everyone she dealt with over her long career in travel, the networks, the relationships and most importantly friendships are the wonderful legacy she leaves, adds the company. Our beloved Anne from APT was also a proud mum to Amy and had two treasured grandchildren. Our collective industry thoughts are with you Amy—she was one special lady.
