Meeuwsen established the nonprofit Orphan’s Promise to aid abandoned children worldwide, with a focus on Ukraine. Terry Meeuwsen was married to Thomas A. Camburn, who worked as a sales manager. etween the years 1974 and 1979. USAM featured faith-based personality shows hosted by broadcasting stalwarts like Tom Mahoney (Weather), Scott Hatch (Sports), and Ross Bagley. Network affiliates (ABC, CBS, NBC) purchased the 30-minute daily morning show to air before their flagship morning programs via satellite.
Affiliates used to broadcast color bars from the previous night’s sign-off until the morning network feed began, but when networks began to offer high-profile personality programming to early morning audiences, they began to create their own unique lead-ins.
In 1993, she became a permanent co-host of The 700 Club, sitting daily next to CBN founder Pat Robertson, after having previously been on the show several times as a guest co-host in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
