Amy Marchewka Death – Amy Marchewka, from Connellsville in Pennsylvania, and a retired Correctional officer has sadly passed away. She was confirmed dead on Saturday, June 10th, 2023, by a family member through a written social media statement that read “Well, the time has come. She fought her battle so hard, and she never gave up. My aunt was the most generous person, if you needed anything.. she was right there waiting. Now she’s our angel guardian.”

What was Amy Marchewka’s cause of death?

According to an announcement by the deceased family, she was pronounced dead following a courageous battle with cancer. According to sources, she served in the Army Reserves before being diagnosed with bile duct cancer. In 2021, Amy, 46 years old at the time had to undergo an immediate liver transplant due to the rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Amy Marchewka was from Connellsville in Pennsylvania, born in 1975. She was a retired Correctional officer with the Pennsylvania Department of Correction. Debbi Marchewkain a social media post wrote “God took Amy into his house yesterday. It’s bittersweet. Amy was the most kind, loving, caring person I’ve had the pleasure to have in my life. She might be small but she was powerful, with her smile, laughter, and love she gave to everyone. I will miss her giggles and shining eyes every day until we meet again. Love you so much sissy.”

“Corrections have been really good to me. Financially and it has given me so many friends. It also gave me the little sister I never had.” Ray Newhouse wrote. “Amy Marchewka and I started our career together and built an awesome friendship. The laughter and talks we shared in that prison made all the difference. No one can ever fill chukas shoes. I’m so glad God chose for our paths to cross and can’t wait to meet her again in eternity. I’ll so miss you, Amy. I have ever since you retired.” Ray also added.

The family will release Amy Marchewka’s obituary and funeral arrangements at a later date.
