Alyssa Leonard Death – The 29-year-old female who passed away in a deadly shooting has been identified as Alyssa Leonard. The mother of one died following the incident which also left another person injured early Sunday. Law enforcement agencies were called to the scene of the incident following reports of a shooting.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, at approximately 1 a.m., law enforcement officials reached the parking lot of a residential complex located near the intersection of 32nd and Vogel Avenues, situated to the north of Dunlap Avenue. Upon arrival, the officers discovered that both a male and a female had sustained gunshot wounds.

The firefighters promptly responded at the scene and expeditiously transported Ms. Alyssa Leonard, a 29-year-old individual, to the hospital. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and passed away thereafter. The individual is presently in a stable state. According to the accounts provided by detectives, the occurrence of the gunshot transpired after a physical altercation between Leonard and an individual of interest, both of whom were situated in their respective motor cars.

According to law enforcement officials, the individual informed the authorities that he and Leonard were subjected to surveillance by an automobile upon entering the residential complex after being closely pursued by another vehicle. According to the witness, the individual stated that Leonard disembarked from the vehicle, after which an occupant of the suspected vehicle discharged a firearm in their direction.
