Alexeis Azuaje Death – A man has died following a deadly car accident that happened today, the 24th of October 2023 in Valles del Tuy, Miranda state. The victim has been identified as baseball player Alexeis Geruan Azuaje Siso, 21. According to reports, Alexeis Azuaje, a prospect for the Philadelphia Phillies passed away from injuries sustained in a fatal traffic accident.

Milb Central, a specialized account for Minor League Baseball news and MLB prospects, confirmed the information and extended condolences to Azuaje’s family. “He left too soon. We extend our heartfelt condolences to family and friends,” they posted on their Instagram account.
How did the crash happen?
The accident happened on the Charallave-Ocumare del Tuy highway, in the Matalinda sector, in front of Alfarera Continental, in the municipality of Cristóbal Rojas. Alexeis Azuaje was driving a gray Ford Fiesta with the license plate KAW27A when he reportedly lost control and collided with a streetlight pole.

Alexeis Azuaje’s cause of death
Alexeis Azuaje who served as the second baseman for the Clearwater Threshers was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead in a health center while undergoing surgery. It was reported that he suffered multiple traumas.

Jorgelis Yenireth Soto Lucena (20) and Yeison Javier Gómez Viera, also known as “el Paisa,” also died in the crash. He belonged to the Cofrada del Santsimo Sacramento del Altar de los Diablos Danzantes de Yare. Luis Miguel Rojas Vegas, who was also in the vehicle, was injured.
Who was Alexeis Azuaje?
Azuaje, who was 21 years old, was signed by the Phillies in July 2018 when he was just 16. Through 111 games in the minors, Azuaje hit .292 with 112 hits, 11 home runs, 44 RBI & 33 stolen bases.
