Alex Taylor and Nicky Jackson Death – 21-year-old Alex E. Taylor passed away after Robeson County shooting and 46-year-old Nicky Jackson was arrested after the fatal incident on June 25, 2023. According to the sheriff’s office in Robeson County, a domestic disagreement that occurred Sunday afternoon took a terrible turn, resulting in one person’s death and the arrest of another individual. The family members of Alex Taylor mourn his death and prepare for his funeral arrangements. Lumberton law enforcement officers responded to a report of a domestic argument in the vicinity of the 5100 block of Smith Mill Road shortly after 4 o’clock in the afternoon.

Deputy sheriffs found one individual shot to death and another person suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived at the scene. Alex E. Taylor, age 21, was determined to be the victim after further investigation. Nicky Jackson, age 46, was recognized as the second individual who had been shot and was found suffering from gunshot wounds, he was later arrested. The investigation led to Jackson being charged with murder in the second degree. He is being held in detention in South Carolina while undergoing medical care, and when he is extradited to North Carolina, he will face more charges there.
