Alex Collins served as a running back for the Memphis Showboats within the United States Football League (USFL) in the realm of American football. During the 2016 National Football League Draft, he was chosen by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round, securing the 171st overall pick.

Following his tenure with the Baltimore Ravens from 2017 to 2018, Collins returned to Seattle after being re-acquired in 2020. His college football journey took place at the University of Arkansas.
