About Aaron Bivens

Hailing originally from Riverside, California, Dr Aaron Bivens had his heart set on becoming a veterinarian since the tender age of six when he tragically lost his childhood feline companion. Ever since that moment, he was determined to help and heal any pet in need, dedicating himself to their well-being.

A proud alumnus of Tuskegee University, Dr Bivens combined his passion for animals with his love for baseball while pursuing his undergraduate studies. Eventually, he earned his veterinary degree from Tuskegee University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.

During his academic journey, Dr Bivens received accolades like the ACVIM Clinical Excellence Award and the AAHA Small Animal Medicine Achievement Award, showcasing his dedication and expertise in the field. In recent times, Dr Bivens has developed a particular fascination with theriogenology, with a focus on brachycephalic breeds, largely influenced by his two beloved English Bulldogs, Chubbs and Slim. He recognizes the surging popularity of French Bulldogs and similar breeds and aims to ensure that both breeders and pet owners are well-informed and equipped to provide the unique care and attention these special dogs require.

Outside of his fulfilling veterinary work, Dr Bivens finds joy in various activities.
